Once again, many of Georgetown University Hospital’s doctors are listed on Northern Virginia Magazine’s “top-rated” doctors and hospitals list.
The magazine used data from HealthGrades’ “Five-Star Doctors” and “Five-Star Hospitals” rankings. "Five-Star" doctors are board certified, free of malpractice and sanctions, and practice at a hospital rated with five stars in its specialties. HealthGrades’ hospital ratings are based on objective mortality and complication rates that have been risk adjusted to account for variations in patient acuity at each hospital.
